Client Brief

Explanation of demographics

  • based on the research that I have gotten I believe the target audience for Cadbury's chocolate relaunch will be young teems and kids as they do tend to love and enjoy eating sugary sweets and cholates. However, I do believe that their audience could be old/returning customers who have had old memories with the different chocolates for example growing up eating those chocolates.

  • In the advertising campaign i will include all of the old chocolate that people used to enjoy very much and will be placed next to a picture of the relaunch brand. this will allow the audience to see what changes have been made to make this relaunch better and more exciting. Furthermore, the use of Cadbury's original colours (purple and gold) will allow the audience to be attracted to the product by them recognising the product. 

  • The advantages of targeting this audience for the relaunch of Cadburys chocolate is that older people will have memories and will be more willing to buy the product as they have an emotional attachment to it and will be happy that there's a relaunch in addition to this, they will be more likely to tell the younger audience of their stories with the chocolates and would persuade them into buying it Aswell.

  • I believe the challenges of creating an ad campaign for this audience will completely convince them why they should buy the relaunched product. Some people might not be totally moved if the product is just a relaunch. I have to convince them why they should buy the relaunched product and what has changed about it.

  • Confectionery and the company I'm working for is Cadbury's.
  • Confectionery is the art of making sweetmeats, which are food particulars that are rich in sugar and carbohydrates.
